Why I Write…

I don’t believe readers should have to sacrifice depth or decency to be captivated by a story.

That conviction shapes everything I write. Good storytelling transcends shock-value—quality and morals can coexist.

When young adults and teens escape in a book, they’re somewhat limited to either wholesome and cheesy or well-written but dark—with almost no in-between.
